Launching in 2019, Oru has grown steadily to a team of 40. 2023 is going to be a huge year for us, we will be launching our Sutton site which will boast of a community much larger than Oru currently, with the team expected to grow to over 140. What brings us together at Oru is our values - we are actively making as much positive change as we can through all the means available to us, we can categorise this through sustainability, biodiversity, accessibility, and diversity. We encourage local resident to apply for jobs at Oru in order to boost local economies and to minimise the reliance on public transport and cars. Oru is run by a diverse management team which is 50% female and 40% LGBTQ+.
